This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG).

2. What data we process and why

• Visiting the website: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and device information. Purpose: delivering the site, security and error analysis (server log files).
• Contact form and emails: name, email address and your message. Purpose: answering your enquiry.
• Orders and subscriptions: name, email address, shipping/delivery address, order details and a payment reference. Purpose: fulfilling the contract (delivery, Mail Club mailing), payment handling and accounting.
• Event registration and tickets: name, email address, event and number of places. Purpose: managing attendance and the door list.
• Order confirmation emails: sent to the address you provide at checkout.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., USA). You enter your payment details on Stripe's own page; Teemar receives only your name, email, address (where needed) and a payment confirmation, not your card number.

4. Service providers we use

We use the following providers. They process data on our behalf or under their own responsibility. No personal data is sold.

• Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland (website hosting, database, email)
• Stripe (payments)
• Swiss Post (delivery of Mail Club and merchandise)
• Substack (newsletter form, only if you choose to open it on our home page or subscribe there; Substack's own privacy policy applies)

5. Transfers abroad

Our website, database and email are hosted in Switzerland. Stripe is or belongs to a US company, and Substack is a US service that your browser contacts only if you open the newsletter form, so access from the USA cannot be ruled out in those cases. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, this is safeguarded by the provider's certification under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses only cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary (for example, keeping the administrator login secure). We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking. Stripe's payment page is operated by Stripe and may set its own cookies. If we add analytics later, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Contact messages are deleted once your enquiry is resolved. Order and accounting records are kept for the statutory period of 10 years (Art. 958f Code of Obligations). Server log files are kept for a short period only.

8. Security

We protect your data with technical and organisational measures (encrypted connections, restricted admin access). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing, within the limits of the law. Contact us at info@teemarclub.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
